Nektaria is a Modern Greek language instructor in Scottsdale, Phoenix, Tempe, and Paradise Valley Arizona.

She gives private Greek lessons and teaches group Greek classes at a local Phoenix Greek School.

Her private lessons are designed and prepared to meet the needs of individual students. She selects books and materials for private lessons based on the goals and learning style of each student.

Her academic qualifications include:

• MA in Modern Greek Studies
• Postgraduate Diploma in Byzantine and Modern Greek Studies
• BA in Honors English Literature and Classics, minor in French Literature
• University of Cambridge/RSA Certificate in Language Teaching to Adults
• University of Cyprus Educational Seminar in the teaching of Greek Language, History, and Theology (full scholarship from University of Cyprus and Cypriot Ministry of Education).

Her Greek teaching experience includes:

• Instruction of Modern Greek to adults at the American University of Athens
• Instruction of Greek to children and adults at a Greek-Consulate-Approved Phoenix Greek Language School

Nektaria has lived in Greece, the United States, and the United Kingdom. In addition to Greek and English, she also speaks Turkish, French, Spanish, and Italian.
